Emergency Management Assistance

Mission Statement

Bolivar County Emergency Management's mission is to provide leadership and support to the community. This is accomplished through education and training of the public as well as Emergency Management Personnel. Education will ultimately prepare the public to protect lives and property. The Emergency Management Team will also be the liaison between the state and county to provide relief in the event a disaster occurs.

Welcome to the Bolivar County Emergency Management Agency webpage. Our aim is to provide you with as much information as possible about our personnel, facilities, missions, operations and safety tips. We also want to promote your well being by giving you the information you may need to make safety conscious decisions. Disasters/Emergencies can happen at any time. The information we offer may reduce the impact of a disaster or emergency on your life. Your welfare may depend on your prior knowledge about what to do and where to go.

Our goal is to provide Bolivar County and other areas with effective Emergency Management information, before, during and after emergencies happen. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please feel free to contact the Emergency Management office.
