General Information: • Justice Court's Civil Jurisdiction is suits to a maximum of $2500.00 • Criminal Misdemeanor charges with a restitution maximum of $5,000.00 • Traffic Violations issued by the Mississippi Highway Patrol and the Bolivar County Sheriff's Department • DUI Violations, 1st and 2nd offense issued by the Mississippi • Highway Patrol and the Bolivar County Sheriff's Department • Felony Initial Count Appearances to set bond • Felony Preliminary Hearings to determine whether evidence is sufficient bound defendant over for trial Court Schedule: District I - Rosedale Court House Open every 2nd Wednesday 8:00am - 5:00pm Schedule to be determined as needed
District II - Cleveland Open Monday - Fridays 8:00am - 5:00pm Civil Trials on Mondays Criminal Trials on Tuesdays Initial Court Appearances on Thursdays
